The idea of “WE” is a funny thing. Right now Hidden California is just one guy - me. Perhaps more importantly though is the idea of US - You and I. Together we can form a community of people who are interested in The Golden State.

I started making videos on YouTube because I love three things. I love California, I love making videos (especially cinematography) and I love history. The idea that I get to combine those three things and tell stories that hopefully entertain and inform you… this idea gets me moving every morning.

Actually I love more than three things… I love my family and friends, health and fitness, learning new things and being engaged in this big crazy thing we call America.
